10th Season Anniversary Campaign
Legends Performing Arts Association celebrates 10 years of serving our mission: "to develop and enrich lives of youth through performing arts.”
Let me be the first to say THANK YOU for your support towards making life changing experiences possible for everyone that is impacted by a Legends experience. We continue to focus on our mission every day and your continued support allows us to maintain the standard of excellence we provide. I am pleased to share that we are fielding our largest DCI unit with 108 members this season.
The “10th Season Anniversary Campaign” will focus on a number of areas towards capital and operating support, including:
- Purchase of additional instruments and uniforms for the Corps to support the continual growing membership.
- Replace the battery percussion, which is used by the Corps and Winter Percussion.
- Various improvements to our Food and Equipment trailer to accommodate efficiency, safety, and the ability to service the growth of the Corps.
- Purchase of electronics equipment for the Corps and Winter Percussion.
- Develop our “Education Series” – various 1-3 day live learning opportunities for students to engage in clinics and leadership development.
WHAT LEGENDS PROVIDES
None of this work is easy, or inexpensive. Through your generous support, Legends is able to offer these 3 different programs, sponsor 3 DCI events in Michigan during the summer, serve 200+ members, travel 10,000+ miles, and perform in front of thousands of spectators. You can help us purchase new instruments and equipment, which are used in our off-season PARTNERS IN EDUCATION initiative to support local public school music programs.
